First of I must say i was one of the students on the list. i have certain reasons for believing why it may have been written that shall not be mentioned and remember it was a JOKE because she said it would be funny and would scare people although i do believe she should be punished because it wasn't funny. I personally believe the parents and students should have been notified sooner (the school never contacted me or my family till 6pm by time which i had already told my mom) and as for the police being at school on Monday I saw a cop there but it was there for 30 minutes. Also, there were plenty of easy ways to solve the situation non where used and the girl accused found it, bragged about being on it Friday and Monday the turned another girl in for doing it kinda suspicious huh? Oh and as for the girl last year she was expelled for the rest of the school year and as of the other incidents I have never heard of any of them.

Well it already seems pretty obvious what the main concerns of the voters are, the citys overspending of taxpayers money, jobs and our police force. I'm just curious about something. How many of you have taken your small children and visited the city park? I took mine a few times and I have to tell you I was pretty miserable sitting there in the sweltering sun in the middle of the day. And how hard is it to entertain small children, why is there no concern for our at risk teenagers? Then someone just mentioned a little while ago about all the money spent to move the water department. I might feel a little better about my $100 a month water bill if it had been used to provide some sort of entertainment for the teens. Why is there no concern about them? Is it because the more trouble they get into, the more money goes into the Lawrence county court system?
