20-year-old Braden Wilson has been identified as the deceased in an early morning shooting at 820 R Street in Bedford.
Details were few, but Lawrence County Coroner John Sherrill said that Wilson died as a result of a gunshot wound to head.
“It was not a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” stated Sherrill.
Bedford Police Department Chief Dennis Parsley said “We don’t know if it was accidental or intentional. At this time, we just don’t know.”
A woman at the home was also injured, but those injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, said Parsley.
