Mayor Dan TerrellMayor Terrell will be kicking off his re-election campaign this afternoon.

A chili lunch hosted by the Lawrence County Republican Central Committee and the Lawrence County Republican Women’s Club will be held at the Mitchell Community Building from 2-5pm today.

Terrell recently filed paperwork announcing his bid for re-election.  He is being challenged by the town dipshit Terry Bock in the May primary.

You can polish a turd all you want and may even get it to shine but at the end of the day it is still a turd.

Anyone who files to run for a public office should be admired and respected for putting themselves on the line to serve their community and not be called a dipshit. If people would stop and look at the good in people and what they want to accomplish by running for office instead of focusing on all of the rumors, lies and hate our community would be a much better place to live. I hope that when everyone chooses who they vote for on election day they have really gotten to know the candidate they vote for and aren't swayed by the critics who themselves don't have the guts that it takes to seek public office.

Goodluck Mayor Terrell. You have no real competition as I don't think the town dipshit can get enough support.
