Indiana State PoliceIndiana State Police have positively identified the body of a woman discovered dead in Greene County as Stacey Lawson, 28, of Greene County.

No arrests have been made in connection with her death, according to police.

No further information about the case, including a cause of death or circumstances leading to the death, will be released, according to Jarrod Holtsclaw, Greene County Prosecutor, until the investigation has concluded.

ISP Sergeant Curt Durnil would not confirm nor deny allegations that Lawson was the victim of a domestic dispute.

An e-mail sent to Sgt. Durnil requesting more information generated an automatic response, stating:

I will be out of the office until Tuesday, August 23rd. I am hopeful to have an update on the Greene County Death Investigation by late this evening.
