Thursday morning, Indiana State Police troopers, along with an Oolitic police officer and his canine, Shani, went to the home of Matthew and Kristen Woods armed with a search warrant.
During a search of the home, LSD and items “consistent with the manufacture and ingestion of methamphetamine” were found, according to police.
Matthew Woods was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Security Charges on several charges relating to the manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of (three grams or more of) methamphetamine, neglect of a dependent, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance (LSD), and the possession of drug paraphernalia.
He faces up to 43 years if convicted on all counts.
According to his Facebook page, he has served as Production Coordinator at General Motors in Bedford, Indiana, since June 1995.
Friday afternoon, Kristen Woods, the wife of Matthew Woods, was arrested by Indiana State Police on a count of manufacturing methamphetamine. She faces up to 20 years on that count.
