ISP: Positive ID to be made after autopsy today

Indiana State PoliceThe Indiana State Police have not released any further information in the case of the female discovered dead in Greene County Saturday afternoon, although unconfirmed reports indicate that the victim is Stacey Lawson.

According to the latest press release, an autopsy will be performed this afternoon in Terre Haute. Notification of the family and a positive identification will be made after the autopsy.

Although police suspect foul play in the case, no arrests have been made. Information that we have received alleges that the victim was killed very violently.

UPDATE: The victim has been positively identified as Stacey Lawson.
