The Seymour Police Department is investigating the disappearance of an elderly woman from Seymour, Indiana.

Police say 72-year-old Carolyn Schmack is a white female, 4’9, weighs about 138 pounds, with hazel eyes and white hair.

She was last seen at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Walters Nursing Home in Seymour. Police believe her husband, David, was the last to be seen with her, and say he may be a threat to her safety.

Police say they are believed to be traveling in a 1995 two door beige Mercury Cougar, with Indiana license plate D292GH.

If you have any information on Carolyn, please contact the Seymour Police Department at 812-522-1234.

UPDATE: The silver alert was later cancelled. I have no information explaining why it was cancelled.
