4:52 p.m. William Edmonson, 40, 307 Wells Ave, Mitchell, civil warrant (Lawrence County)


6:43 a.m. Person advised he was out walking and observed a male subject “messing around houses” in the 500 block of E. Frank Street.

6:52 a.m. Caller noted that someone parked a red & white scooter in the alley behind his house. The scooter was determined to be stolen and returned to its owner.

7:32 a.m. City Bus advised that there is a teenage boy walking up and down South 6th Street, stopping and looking at houses then walking off.

7:57 a.m. Subject on station regarding the stolen scooter from 6:52 a.m.

7:59 a.m. The owner of Charlie’s Barber Shop reported that someone broke into his barber shop.

8:09 a.m. Female in the 700 block of W. Mississippi Avenue reports that he 15-year-old daughter has runaway. The juvenile was located at 11:36 a.m.

11:14 a.m. Man locked him keys in his vehicle at the American Legion. MPD was unable to unlock the vehicle.

12:49 p.m. Man in the 400 block of W. Oak Street reported that juveniles are setting off fireworks behind his house. They were advised to stop setting off fireworks.

2:06 p.m. Caller reported subjects trying to take items out of a house in the 500 block of N. 7th Street and reported that the new owners didn’t want anyone in the house.

2:42 p.m. Caller reported a red & gray moped parked behind his garage near the alley in the 200 block of E. Vine Street. The owner was located and advised he will be getting a truck to pick up the moped since it won’t start.

3:13 p.m. Female on station wanting to speak with an officer regarding harassment.

3:20 p.m. Man on station requesting to speak with an officer regarding fingerprints.

3:45 p.m. Female on station to file a no trespassing order against another person.

3:50 p.m. Caller reports a “suspicious subject” walking around a house in the 500 block of E. Frank Street. A no trespass order was served on the person.

4:15 p.m. Male on station wanting to file theft charges. One person was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.

5:03 p.m. LCSD notified MPD that Washington County advised them of a speeding motorcycle on Highway 60 coming into Lawrence County in excess of 100 MPH.

6:05 p.m. Caller reports harassment from other people going by his house.

6:25 p.m. Active alarm at Old National Bank, 1494 W. Main Street. MPD checked the location which appeared to be “secure”. A person was called to reset the alarm.

6:46 p.m. Male subject called with information.

7:35 p.m. Female caller reports a Yellow Penske Truck with no taillights going north on Highway 37. MPD stopped the vehicle at Spice Valley Road & Highway 37. The driver was issued a verbal warning and advised he would notify Penske maintenance.

7:58 p.m. Two callers reported they had been following a possibly drunk person in a Blue HHR at Highway 60 and Old 60 west of Mitchell. LCSD was notified.

8:15 p.m. Female subject and another person on station to speak with an officer regarding battery in the 500 block of Main Street. No charges were filed.

9:37 p.m. Caller reporter two trucks “pulled in side-by-side” at the old Dairy Queen parking lot.

10:10 p.m. Juvenile female and guardian on station to give a statement regarding an investigation.

1:05 a.m. Male caller from the rooming house on S. 5th Street reported he walked into the common kitchen area and a male was on the floor, possibly dead. The male was not dead, but was not responsive. He was transported to St. Vincent Dunn.
