Incidents

8:11 a.m. 911 call from Elm Park requesting an ambulance for a 78-year-old man who needed to go to the hospital.

8:44 a.m. Chastain Funeral Home will be going to Huron and requested an escort from Main Street to Highway 37 at 12:10 p.m.

10:57 a.m. Officer requested to assist a man locked out of his vehicle at the Clark gas station on Highway 37.

11:47 a.m. Female caller reported fraud in the 500 block of South 7th Street and requested an officer check to see if someone lived at the address.

1:22 p.m. Female caller reported that her son’s prescription was stolen from her purse while they were in Scottsburg. She was given the telephone number of the police department there and advised to report it to them.

1:37 p.m. Man reported a speeding vehicle, a two-tone blue dually, on West Warren Street.

2:00 p.m. Female in the 300 block of West Warren Street requested to speak with an officer.

3:06 p.m. Woman reported a line down in the alley behind Oak Street between 8th and 9th Streets. MPD determined it was a telephone line. It was reported to Frontier who advised it would be Monday or Tuesday before it is fixed.

4:00 p.m. Female caller reported three dogs at 5th and Frank Streets that are outside and have food, water, or shelter. MPD spoke with the owners who reported they have given the dogs a bath and put them outside to dry off.

5:10p.m. Female caller requested information on her husband’s arrest on October 10th. She was told that it was LCSD who arrested him.

5:36 p.m. Woman reported a barefoot four-year-old child who no shirt on running in the road on Main Street in front of Haverly’s.

5:44 p.m. Man requested an ambulance in the 300 block of West Warren Street for his wife, who is 23 weeks pregnant and has a fever of 103.6 degrees. She was transported to St. Vincent Dunn.

7:08 p.m. Woman on station regarding two four- to five-year-old girls that keep climbing her antenna and kicking their own dog. She is afraid they are going to get hurt.

7:35 p.m. Man in the 1100 block of Orchard Street reported that a dog is on his porch in case anyone calls.

7:53 p.m. Woman reported juveniles at the transfer station at Helmar Acres throwing items causing noises. A few moments later, a male caller reported the same thing. MPD spoke with the juveniles.

8:30 p.m. Woman in the 400 block of Warren Street advised of a female in a blue or green four-door Oldsmobile.

8:38 p.m. MPD stopped a vehicle at 9th and Main Streets.

8:40 p.m. Man in the 300 block of John R. Williams Avenue requested an officer because he was just battered by another man and wants to press charges.

8:51 p.m. Man reported two juvenile males throw items at houses and running away in the 900 block of Grissom Avenue.

9:37 p.m. MPD stopped a vehicle on Orchard Street near the Bedford Recycling facility. A verbal warning was issued.

9:41 p.m. A woman at the Senior Citizen Building reported that her friend locked her keys in her vehicle.

9:52 p.m. Man reported he will be coming to the station regarding theft.

9:55 p.m. Man in the 400 block of Oak Street reported that a vehicle followed him home but did not stop. He requested extra patrol.

10:05 p.m. A oman in the 300 block of West Vine Street reported that there were two males that climbed her banister and got on top of her roof about 15 minutes prior. Her garage door had also been opened and shut.

11:47 p.m. Male caller in the 500 block of Marion Street reported juveniles kicking down signs in his neighbor’s yards.

12:13 a.m. Man from the 9:52 p.m. call was on station to speak with an officer regarding theft.

12:19 a.m. Female caller reported that male juveniles were kicking down signs in the area of the Feed and Grain store on Main Street and were heading toward Frank Street. MPD spoke with the juveniles.

12:28 a.m. Security company reported an active fire alarm at Steel Tech, 240 South Meridian Road. They called right back and reported that an employee set off the alarm by accident.

1:33 a.m. Female caller in the 600 block of West Frank Street with a noise complaint. The person was advised.
