Incidents

2:00 p.m. Woman from the 100 block of Dale Street requests an officer go with her to that location.

2:52 p.m. Man in the 300 block of West Oak Street requests an officer go with him to that location.

3:18 p.m. Woman in the 500 block of South 7th Street called regarding problems with her neighbor’s dog. The neighbor called back later and advised she would keep her dog secured.

4:50 p.m. Woman and others on station. MPD withheld details from the police log.

5:13 p.m. Woman in the 100 block of West Vine Street called requesting information regarding a dog.

6:00 p.m. Man found a wallet in the 1100 block of West Oak Street on station. The owner was contacted and said she would come to pick it up.

7:43 p.m. Call reporting a vehicle broken down in the middle of the road near the 8th Street railroad crossing. The vehicle was gone when MPD arrived nine minutes later.

8:33 p.m. Lawrence County relayed a report of a ladder in the middle of the road on Highway 37 between McDonald’s and Holiday Drive-In but they did not have any units available. MPD checked the area but found no ladder.

9:20 p.m. An “anonymous” caller at “Address Unknown” regarding “Information”. MPD withheld details from the police log.

10:41 p.m. 911 call from the 1000 block of Tulip Street with no one on the line. MPD responded and reported it was weather related and the owners were going to contact the phone company.

11:14 p.m. Man reported a barricade in the eastbound lane of Highway 60 East at Meridian Road. MPD and City employees checked the location and found nothing.

11:26 p.m. Lawrence County relayed a report of crates in the road on Highway 60 East near the railroad crossing. MPD and City employees checked the location and found nothing.

11:36 p.m. Caller from the 300 block of West Warren Street reported his grandmother is having problems breathing. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Incidents

1:54 a.m. Man in the 400 block of Vine Street called 911 to report his 30-year-old girlfriend had a seizure and was not responding. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

2:46 a.m. Man called reporting a cat had been around Building 1 at Persimmon Park Apartments the last four nights and requested it be picked up.
