Incidents

8:39 a.m. Chastain Funeral Home requested an escort for a funeral later in the day.

8:48 a.m. Man at Lakeside Estates requested an officer regarding a previous burglary.

10:23 a.m. Man on station regarding check fraud.

11:59 a.m. A city employee reported a woman at McDonald’s just hit the city truck he was driving. He then reported that an officer was not needed; the woman hit the truck’s hitch and there was no damage to the truck.

1:57 p.m. A woman who delivers newspapers requested a welfare check on a man on her route in the 700 block of West Brook Street. It was discovered that the man was simply out of town.

2:22 p.m. Female caller requested an officer assist with a lockout at Mitchell Manor.

2:37 p.m. Female caller requested an officer assist with a lockout at the Mitchell High School parking lot.

2:48 p.m. Female caller reported a reckless driver on 5th Street near the Legion.

3:19 p.m. Female on station to fill out a statement.

3:42 p.m. A man called to report that he bought a coin from a shop in the 500 block of West Main Street and later found out that it was counterfeit. The man was informed that a note on the door of the business says it was closed due to illness and was given a phone number.

4:28 p.m. Male and female on station to report three juveniles riding a wheelchair with a baby hanging off the front. The father was contacted and he advised “he would take care of it”.

4:28 p.m. Female caller reported an abandoned vehicle at 60’s Eastside that was blocking the gas pumps.

4:42 p.m. Female caller requested an officer to the 500 block of South 7th Street regarding vandalism.

5:14 p.m. Man on station requesting a VIN check in the 100 block of West Warren Street.

5:31 p.m. A man called to report that his dog was loose and ask if anyone had reported a dog in the area of the 800 block of West Warren Street.

6:05 p.m. Female caller from the 4:28 p.m. call at 60’s Eastside reported that the owners were back to pickup their vehicle.

6:13 p.m. Female caller reported a speeding mini bike in the 100 block of Dale Street that was potentially dangerous due to children treat-or-treating in the area.

7:43 p.m. Female from the 100 block of West Frank Street requested information from an officer.

7:54 p.m. Male caller on 911 reported a speeding vehicle, red in color, going south on 9th Street.

8:41 p.m. Female caller requested an officer to the 400 block of West Oak Street because her home and vehicle had been egged.

9:20 p.m. Female caller requested extra patrol around Walker Addition. Her home was broken into a few days ago and she just discovered that her house keys and her daughter’s extra car keys were missing.

9:53 p.m. Male caller from the Clark station at Highway 37 and Main Street requested extra patrol because of juveniles.

10:00 p.m. Female caller on Plum Street reported prowlers outside her home that were knocking on windows and set a pumpkin on fire. She called back a few moments later to report that it was her neighbors, her husband had spoken to them, and they had left the area. She requested extra patrol.
