2:15 a.m. Officer requested a license plate check on a blue GMC truck parked up against The Keg with no one around.

3:51 a.m. Female caller in the 500 block of West Oak Street complained about her neighbors setting off fireworks.

8:23 a.m. Female caller reported a small cow in the highway in front of the produce store on Highway 37 at Stevens Street.

9:11 a.m. MPD officer advised he was sitting on Highway 37 North in regards to shots fired in Northern Lawrence County. The driver of a white Dodge dually pickup truck shot into a residence and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The vehicle was located shortly afterwards.

11:54 a.m. Man from Hel-mar on station because threats were being made against him. He was advised to get a restraining order.

1:58 p.m. Female reporting a cat in her yard in the 200 block of 9th Street that was not moving and had possibly been hit by a car.

2:15 p.m. Man on station reporting the door is open on a house he owns in the 400 block of Frank Street. He requested an officer to meet him there. Everything checked out okay.

2:27 p.m. Female called to report a suicidal male.

4:05 p.m. Female and two juveniles on station to give a statement.

4:07 p.m. Female in the 500 block of West Frank Street reported that her soon to be ex-husband has stolen their daughter’s PlayStation. An officer talked to the man who said he would bring the PlayStation back tomorrow.

5:36 p.m. Female in the 3000 block of Poplar Street requested an extra patrol because of the theft of straps overnight. She said she would be in tomorrow to press charges if anything was missing.

5:58 p.m. Female in the 600 block of Grissom Avenue reported that her 80-year-old mother had passed out and was very weak. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

6:42 p.m. Anonymous caller reported a loud disturbance in the 200 block of Vine Street.

7:53 p.m. Lockout at Northside Village.
