Incidents

5:36 a.m. Accident involving a state highway truck on Highway 37 in front of the Sprint station.

8:07 a.m. Everett Ferrell reported that someone spray painted his building at 7th and Main Streets.

8:17 a.m. Lockout at Persimmon Park Apartments.

8:49 a.m. MPD Officer assisted a motorist on Highway 37 in front of the Marathon station.

9:10 a.m. Terry Bock reported that someone spray painted and keyed his vehicle in the 1100 block of North 8th Street.

10:44 a.m. Political sign at 9th Street and Grissom Avenue belonging to Gary Pruett was vandalized.

11:32 a.m. Woman reported that she was driving a tan Pontiac Grand Prix en route to Bloomington Hospital with her daughter who was in labor and having contractions one minute apart. She was told to meet an ambulance due to the danger and advised they “will be okay” and hung up. Lawrence County was notified.

1:04 p.m. Lockout at Camelot Court.

1:15 p.m. Woman reported a large collie dog running loose at an unknown location.

2:15 p.m. Woman at the office at Camelot Court called regarding a person who was there earlier that they have a no trespass order on.

2:15 p.m. Woman on station regarding information.

3:25 p.m. Lockout in the 300 block of Poplar Street.

4:40 p.m. Woman reported two juveniles, one on a bicycle and the other on a wheelchair, ramping the ditch by the Hoosier Uplands parking lot on West Warren Street.

4:53 p.m. Lockout detail at Persimmon Park Apartments. The woman’s name was withheld from the log, at her request, in violation of Indiana statute.

4:57 p.m. Male caller in the 400 block of South Meridian Road requested an officer regarding battery.

4:58 p.m. Female caller from Bloomington spoke with an officer regarding harassment and threats. She was given information on obtaining a protective order.

5:26 p.m. Female caller from the 100 block of East Frank Street requested an officer regarding a possible breaking and entering. Someone attempted to gain entry with a screwdriver but was unsuccessful.

6:20 p.m. Female caller from the 200 block of North 4th Street requested an officer regarding problems with a juvenile going past her house yelling and causing problems. The people were told to keep their kids separated from one another.

6:26 p.m. Female caller from the 300 block of West Warren Street requested an officer regarding problems with a juvenile going past her house yelling and causing problems. The people were told to keep their kids separated from one another.

6:47 p.m. Male caller from the 400 block of West Oak Street requested an officer tell his neighbors to control their dogs. They were barking excessively and had been for days.

7:01 p.m. Male caller reported a fight in the alley in the 500 block between West Warren and West Brook Streets.

7:34 p.m. Lockout at the Mitchell High School student parking lot.

7:48 p.m. Female on station requesting to speak with an officer.

9:35 p.m. Report of several people gathered in the parking lot of O’Reilly’s Auto Parts.

10:43 p.m. Female caller requested a welfare check on her mother who was possibly involved in a domestic fight. The caller said there was a history of domestic abuse.
