11:00 a.m. Notification from Perry County that the Department of Natural Resources was conducting a controlled burn and that the smoke would reach Lawrence County unless the weather changed.

12:11 p.m. Lockout at Eden Land.

1:20 p.m. Female on station to sign a no trespass order.

4:35 p.m. Female from the 300 block of West Warren Street called regarding juveniles on a motorized wheelchair attempting to run over people and property. They were told to leave the area.

5:15 p.m. Male caller in the 100 block of West Grissom Avenue requested an officer because a person came up to him and started battering him and then left.

6:06 p.m. Female caller reported juveniles riding a motorized wheelchair up and down 4th Street near West Oak Street.

6:40 p.m. Male caller reported a vehicle tailgating him and trying to cut him off. The vehicle was going south on Highway 37 then turned left at the Hoosier Hills Credit Union.

7:20 p.m. Caller reported about four kids were playing around at the Grissom Memorial at City Hall. The person’s name was withheld from the log, at their request, in violation of Indiana statute.

8:24 p.m. Female caller in the 100 block of West Vine Street requested that MPD telephone a male subject and tell him to stop calling her. She reported that he had been calling her all day.

9:04 p.m. Female caller in the 400 block of West Oak Street requested to speak with an officer because of several juveniles throwing eggs at her car. She was told to come to the police station and make a statement, which she did.

9:51 p.m. Male on station requesting to speak with an officer.

10:58 p.m. Vehicle stop at 14th Street and Hancock Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.

11:24 p.m. Vehicle stop on Doc Hamilton Boulevard at the bridge. A written warning was issued.

3:50 a.m. Skyler Smith, 18, Mitchell, illegal consumption.


12:27 a.m. Male caller in the 100 block of Vine Street requested an officer regarding phone harassment.

2:24 a.m. Anonymous caller reported a lot of noise and fighting and arguing in the parking lot at Elm Park I. A juvenile female was cited into court and released to her mother. A male was arrested.
