10:15 a.m. Jessica L. Norris, 24, Bedford, public intoxication, possession of a syringe.

11:25 p.m. Joseph C. Agan, 26, Mitchell, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, battery causing injury.


12:15 a.m. Female caller in the 800 block of South 2nd Street reported a white, newer model van sitting in her yard. She wanted officers to tell them to leave her property. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

1:01 a.m. Traffic stop at Highway 37 and Teke Burton Drive (north). A verbal warning was issued.

1:17 a.m. Lawrence County reported they had received a call about a woman who nearly hit a brown horse on Highway 37 in front of McDonald’s.

2:24 a.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and Orchard Street.

2:40 a.m. Female on station to report that she just hit a deer in the southbound lane on Highway 37 just before the Sprint station.

4:19 a.m. Traffic stop at Rabbitsville Road and Doc Hamilton Boulevard. A verbal warning was issued.

8:11 a.m. BPD requested MPD be on the lookout for a dark blue 2002 Subaru Legacy Wagon that was stolen from Pizza Hut at 4:15 a.m.

8:19 a.m. BPD reported that the vehicle from the 8:11 a.m. call had been found.

8:27 a.m. Female reported that two of her employees hadn’t made it to work yet and that wasn’t like them. He requested information on any accidents. While on the phone with the dispatcher the woman received a call advising that the employees had a flat tire and were on their way to work.

9:12 a.m. Female reported an intoxicated woman with blonde hair wearing all black walking on Rabbitsville Road onto Woodville Road. One person was arrested.

9:29 a.m. An escort was requested for a funeral later in the morning.

9:29 a.m. Female reported a black pit bull on 7th Street between Mississippi Avenue and Frank Street that was trying to bite people. The dog was put back on its leash.

9:33 a.m. Female caller in the 800 block of South 2nd Street reported she let her dogs out last night and they had not returned.

9:55 a.m. Female caller stated that she called MPD the previous night regarding dogs she had found. She requested that the city pick them up.

9:59 a.m. MPD dispatcher called back the woman from the 9:55 a.m. call to tell her about the woman from the 9:33 call that reported her dogs missing. The woman from the 9:33 a.m. was sent to the home to pick up the dogs.

11:01 a.m. Female caller reported that there was a political sign belonging to Mayor Dan Terrell at Ron’s Service Station and demanded that it be removed immediately. The sign was picked up.

12:26 p.m. Female requested to speak with an officer.

1:10 p.m. Male caller reported he was having a bonfire in the 700 block of Teke Burton Drive.

2:25 p.m. Female caller from the 600 block of West Oak Street requested to speak with an officer.

2:49 p.m. Man on station reported he went over the railroad tracks on Grissom Avenue and it broke the training in the vehicle he was driving. He just wanted the incident logged.

4:00 p.m. Man on station reported that his daughter’s ex showed up at her house this morning and he had made threats against her in the past.

4:04 p.m. Female caller from Persimmon Park Apartments reported that her apartment was on fire.

4:16 p.m. Female caller reporting a fire at Persimmon Park Apartments.

6:27 p.m. Male caller reported a dog running loose at Hancock Avenue and Teke Burton Drive near Burris School.

7:32 p.m. Man on station to report the theft of a refrigerator and air conditioner out of a rental house.

8:39 p.m. Female requested extra patrol in the 300 block of West Warren Street at a specific time.

8:59 p.m. Female on station reporting battery.

9:11 p.m. Female caller from Persimmon Park Apartments reported that she broke up with her boyfriend and that he had her car and apartment keys and was refusing to give them back.

9:29 p.m. Male called 911 to report a fight at Jack’s that had spread out into the street. One person was arrested.

9:35 p.m. Male caller reported a suspicious vehicle in an alley in the 500 block of South 7th Street.

11:03 p.m. Female caller requested extra patrol in the 900 block of Main Street because of multiple incidents of vandalism.

12:06 a.m. Female caller at Persimmon Park Apartments requested an officer speak with her neighbor because of noise.

12:50 a.m. Female caller in the 200 block of East Grissom Avenue complaining about animals.

1:29 a.m. Lawrence County requested MPD backup on Woodsferry Road. A 12-year-old babysitter believed that someone was in the home. The home was determined to be secure.

1:37 a.m. Extra patrol was requested at Persimmon Park Apartments because of an earlier fire.

1:46 a.m. MPD officer reported a residence in the 700 block of West Brook Street that had approximately 20 political signs in the yard.

2:34 a.m. Male caller in the 300 block of North 6th Street reported a prowler looking through the bedroom window then trying to open the front door. The caller said the prowler, described as a male, over 6′ tall, heavy build, wearing all black with something covering his face, ran when he saw the man’s gun.
