5:02 a.m. Report of a car versus deer property damage accident on Highway 37 in front of Jim Orr Auto Sales.

7:54 a.m. Woman requested a welfare check on a woman in the 1100 block of West Brook Street because they couldn’t contact the woman there who “has been sick for several years”. The woman was not coming to the door and the phone line was open. Police and EMS gained entry into the home and the woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

8:16 a.m. Man in the 900 block of South Stevens reported that two of his neighbor’s dogs were running loose.

8:55 a.m. Man reported finding a woman’s wallet.

1:50 p.m. Burris School reported that they would be having a fire drill at 2 p.m.

1:57 p.m. Female from the 400 block of South Meridian Road was on station to report that her neighbor’s were cursing her again.

2:30 p.m. Vehicle stop at 3rd Street and Grissom Avenue.

2:42 p.m. Female caller from the 400 block of North 3rd Street requested to speak with an officer.

4:21 p.m. Female on station to see if MPD had her driver’s license that had been stolen.

4:32 p.m. Female caller reported that her neighbor shot through her barn, just missing her daughter’s playhouse.

6:03 p.m. Anonymous caller reported a man in the 600 block of South 7th Street going in and out of a vacant home and throwing items toward the garage.

8:29 p.m. Vehicle stop at Main Street and Meridian Road.

8:54 p.m. Female requested extra patrol in the alley of the 200 block of Grissom due to juveniles in the dumpster.

10:33 p.m. Female caller reported several juveniles on skateboards in the Post Office parking lot. The woman was the property owner and requested that MPD ask them to leave.

12:05 a.m. Male caller reported a possible drunk driver on Highway 37 South passing the Sprint station. The white, newer model, extended cab Ford truck had been “all over the roadway for several miles”.

12:12 a.m. Male caller from the 700 block of Grissom Avenue complained about his neighbor’s dogs being loose and barking at his bedroom window. He said that this was an ongoing problem.

12:58 a.m. Female caller requested an officer because someone was possibly in her home in the 1400 block of Deckard Drive. MPD spoke with the caller’s daughter who advised not to send an officer.

2:20 a.m. 911 caller reported that someone was in the Mitchell Family Restaurant and hung up. Fresh pry marks were found on the southwest door which had been broken in.
