12:29 a.m. An anonymous caller reported a male and female shining a light in a vacant home at 8th Street and Mississippi Avenue.

12:35 a.m. A man reported four males attempting to break into a trailer in the area of 1100 Tulip Street. The man said the males saw someone and ran towards the old Dana building. Police were unable to locate the four males.

6:13 a.m. Keys locked in a vehicle at Mitchell High School.

9:02 a.m. Female on station regarding fingerprints.

9:09 a.m. A man reported that someone apparently broke into his pop machine.

9:34 a.m. Woman reported that an intoxicated female brought a child to school and left headed east on Hancock Avenue in a silver Chevrolet Blazer.

10:50 a.m. Female caller reported that a woman fell the previous night and hit her head and face and needed to be seen in the emergency room.

10:54 a.m. Female caller reported that a customer backed into a stop sign at 8th Street and Hancock Avenue and wanted to pay for the damages.

11:07 a.m. Title check requested in the 500 block of Frank Street.

11:15 a.m. Keys locked in a vehicle on Main Street between 5th and 6th Streets.

11:50 a.m. Property damage accident at the stoplight at Highway 37 and Main Street.

12:20 p.m. A woman in the 1100 block of West Brook Street reported that her husband fell. She said he wasn’t injured but needed help getting up.

1:35 p.m. Report of a domestic fight at the Clark Station at Highway 37 and Main Street. A man left with a child in a gray Dodge Intrepid and the female left on foot with another child.

1:55 p.m. Man reported people parallel parking in the area of 6th Street and Mississippi Avenue when they are supposed to be parking at an angle. Police were unable to locate any vehicles parallel parked.

2:35 p.m. Two calls reporting that a transformer blew in the area of Wade Street and Bartlett Avenue and was laying on the ground. There was also grass on fire in the area.

2:37 p.m. Female caller in the 700 block of Hancock Avenue reported that she said a popping noise. She reported that she smelled gas and thought it may have been her furnace. She was advised that the noise may have been the transformer that blew up.

3:06 p.m. Woman on station paid the fee for a title check and requested an officer meet her at noon tomorrow.

3:52 p.m. Man on station requested to speak with an officer.

4:15 p.m. Man on station to pick up a copy of a report.

4:35 p.m. Woman on station reported receiving harassing text messages. She was told that she would need to obtain a restraining order if it continued.

4:45 p.m. Officer assisting Lawrence County Police Department with an accident on Highway 37 at the Orange County Line.

5:58 p.m. Vehicle stop on Highway 37 north of Hancock Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.

6:09 p.m. Man on station to file a report on a lost wallet.

6:50 p.m. Alarm company reported an audible alarm in the 1100 block of Stevens Street.

7:36 p.m. A male caller requested an officer in the 200 block of East Frank Street regarding a theft.

7:37 p.m. A female caller requested an officer in the Mitchell High School parking lot regarding a lockout.

8:20 p.m. A male caller requested an officer in the 400 block of West Warren Street in regard to an intoxicated male causing problems. One man was transported by ambulance to IU Health Bedford to be checked out.

8:55 p.m. A man, woman, and juvenile were at the police station to speak with an officer.

9:21 p.m. The male caller from the 8:20 p.m. call reported that the man’s brother came over and they were outside in a fight. He was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

10:22 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a silver Chevy on Highway 37 heading south from Briscoe’s that was driving recklessly.

10:28 p.m. A male caller requested an officer at Persimmon Park Apartments regarding a foul odor and an alarm that was going off.

10:49 p.m. A female caller at Lakeside Estates reported that another female was harassing her.

11:20 p.m. A female caller reported several people on mopeds at 60’s Eastside that were yelling and cursing.

11:29 p.m. A male employee at Sprint reported people digging in their trash.

11:43 p.m. A female caller in the 100 block of Dale Street reported that her mother’s boyfriend was threatening to throw all of her belongings outside. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant and handed over to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
