12:34 a.m. Vehicle stop on Highway 37 at Parks Implement Road. A verbal warning was issued.

1:29 a.m. Vehicle stop at Ruler parking lot. A verbal warning was issued.

4:38 a.m. A male caller at 12th and Maple Streets reported dogs barking all night.

6:44 a.m. Alarm company reported an active alarm at the American Legion.

7:26 a.m. A female caller on Kelso Road requested to speak with an officer regarding wanting a man out of the house. She was advised she would have to contact the Lawrence County Police Department since she is outside of the city.

8:16 a.m. A male reported that a bicycle was stolen from Persimmon Park Apartments sometime after 10 p.m. the previous night.

8:29 a.m. A female caller requested an ambulance in the 1100 block of West Main Street.

9:30 a.m. Female caller reported a brown pit bull running loose in the area of South 9th Street and Highway 60.

9:40 a.m. Man and woman on station requesting to speak with an officer.

10:02 a.m. A female caller requested an ambulance in the 1100 block of West Main Street again for a man complaining about dizziness and other problems. He was transported to St. Vincent’s Dunn Hospital.

10:13 a.m. A female caller in the 200 block of South 5th Street reported someone came into her apartment and took several items.

11:15 a.m. Female from the 100 block of West Warren Strete on station requesting to speak with an officer regarding a problem with a man. MPD spoke to the man and advised him he would be arrested for trespassing if he went onto the property.

11:15 a.m. Man on station regarding a lost wallet.

12:30 p.m. The monthly tornado siren test was conducted.

12:40 p.m. Female caller from the 300 block of Dean Street requested an officer for a title check.

1:10 p.m. Female on station regarding a title check.

1:10 p.m. Man and woman on station regarding gun permits.

1:28 p.m. Man on station reported that some school kids in a small blue Ford almost ran over him at the post office. He returned later with a possible license plate number.

2:38 p.m. Male caller on 911 reported possible gun shots. MPD spoke with a neighbor who didn’t hear anything.

3:20 p.m. Male caller reported a person driving a gray van who looked like they were going to fall asleep. The van was traveling towards town from the Dollar Store.

4:10 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a gray van heading east on Warren Street from 4th Street that was swerving all over the road.

4:16 p.m. MPD stopped a gray van at 14th Street and Deckard Drive. The driver indicated that she was looking for her son who did not get off the bus.

4:19 p.m. Man and woman on station regarding fraud.

4:35 p.m. Anonymous caller at 60’s Eastside reported a child with a pacifier left outside in a silver car. MPD was unable to locate the vehicle.

5:19 p.m. A female reported that her son’s red Mongoose bicycle was stolen from Persimmon Park Apartments.

5:43 p.m. A female was on station to report that someone tried to get into her trunk sometime overnight.

6:33 p.m. Male on 911 requested an officer at Camelot Court regarding “someone that has been calling the Law on him”.

6:36 p.m. Anonymous caller reported a female driving a gray van on Warren Street without a driver’s license.

6:37 p.m. Another caller reported that a female in a gray van was driving recklessly, is a habitual traffic violator, and was harassing him.

6:41 p.m. Anonymous caller reported that this female has tried to run over a man on Warren Street.

6:45 p.m. Anonymous caller reported that the female is at 4th and Warren Streets.

6:46 p.m. MPD officer advised that the gray van is parked at 4th and Warren Streets.

7:44 p.m. A man on his daughter were on station regarding intimidation.

8:22 p.m. Orange County requested an officer assist Orleans Police with a fight.

8:24 p.m. Orange County advised that assistance was no longer needed.

8:35 p.m. MPD out in the 200 block of Main Street regarding a verbal fight.

8:41 p.m. Female reported a lot of smoke in the area of Teke Burton Drive and Hancock Avenue. A controlled burn was in progress.

9:17 p.m. A female requested an officer in the 600 block of Frank Street regarding people in a vacant home. MPD made entry and found no one in the residence.

9:43 p.m. Man reported a possible chemical burn in the 500 block of Grissom Avenue.

10:09 p.m. Vehicle stop at 8th Street and Mississippi Avenue. He was cited for disregarding a stop sign.

11:50 p.m. Caller in the 500 block of Warren Street complaining about a dog that had been barking for over an hour. MPD attempted to contact the owner but was unsuccessful.

11:52 p.m. A female calling from the McDonald’s parking lot reported the theft of $180. She was told to come to the police station to make a report.
