1:47 a.m. MPD officer out on West Main Street speaking with a female subject.

4:33 a.m. Male caller in the 100 block of East Frank Street requested to speak with an officer regarding a fight he was involved in.

4:54 a.m. MPD officer advised he was told there were suspicious people at the basketball court at City Hall. A driver’s license check was ran on a man, then police transported a female juvenile to a residence on 7th Street and advised her parents of the situation.

5:24 a.m. MPD officer out with a vehicle at 4th and Warren Streets.

6:04 a.m. Alarm company dispatcher reported an active hold-up alarm at McDonald’s. MPD responded and spoke with a supervisor who reported that there were no problems.

8:47 a.m. Male caller requested an officer in the 100 block of East Brook Street regarding a robbery in the night.

10:44 a.m. Female caller reported a huge piece of metal on in the turning lane of Highway 37 north of Sprint. A message was left with the Highway Department.

11:35 a.m. Man on station to give a statement.

1:27 p.m. A juvenile on station reported a chemical burn smell in the 500 block of West Grissom Avenue. Officers reported no such smell.

1:58 p.m. Alarm company reported an active medical alarm and requested an ambulance to the 400 block of Meridian Road. First Responders arrived and discovered that a child got ahold of the button and set off the alarm.

2:56 p.m. Man on station regarding a statement.

3:00 p.m. A female reported an intoxicated person at the Dollar Store.

3:30 p.m. An anonymous male on station to report juveniles “swinging a sign” in the Library parking lot.

3:30 p.m. A female in the 200 block of Main Street requested an officer to pick up two bicycles that didn’t belong there. The bicycles were picked up by their owners.

4:10 p.m. An anonymous caller reported a chemical smell in the area of 6th Street and Grissom Avenue.

4:49 p.m. A female reported several juveniles in the 300 block of Frank Street possible trying to fight.

5:20 p.m. A man on Rager Road requested an ambulance for his mother who was having back complications due to surgery.

5:39 p.m. A female at Peaceful Valley requested an officer to call a person that was harassing her and tell them to bring her items to the police station.

5:41 p.m. Lawrence County Police Department advised of a possible drunk driver in a green Ford Ranger on Highway 37 southbound from Stevens Lane.

8:23 p.m. A man was on station with information on a possible theft that occurred on June 8th.

8:44 p.m. A man reported boards broken at the City Park by the swimming pool.

8:58 p.m. MPD officer out at Lakeside Estates with a female juvenile regarding smoking. The officer spoke to the girl’s father and she was cited for possession of tobacco by a minor.

9:00 p.m. Vehicle stop at 8th Street and Mississippi Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.

9:30 p.m. Vehicle stop at Highway 60 and Meridian Road. A citation for speeding was issued.

9:57 p.m. A female caller reported a small dark blue car driving recklessly and at speeds of 80-90 mph on Highway 37 from Paoli. Orleans Police were advised.

10:51 p.m. Officer requested dispatch contact the Street Department regarding graffiti on a stop sign at Dean Street and Rabbitsville Road.
